about us

British overseas territories

The British Red Cross has eight overseas branches. As they are all in British Overseas Territories, we form part of the British Red Cross.

Our work covers a wide range of Red Cross activities depending on local needs. For instance, most of the other branches offer disaster management, community health support and first aid. As in all Red Cross branches, volunteers are the mainstay of their work.

The Caribbean overseas branches include Bermuda, the British Virgin Islands, the Cayman Islands, Montserrat and the Turks and Caicos Islands.

The BRC also have branches in the Falkland Islands, Gibraltar and St Helena.
